Our Story
HOW IT STARTED
As a young man trying to find himself, after dropping out of university (let’s not remind the parents) I do as most youngsters do and decide to go travelling. I somehow mange to end up in
America, ‘The Land of Opportunity’.
Let me take you back to 2013, I was walking around the streets of New York, cold and extremely hungry in need of some delicious food.
My love for pizza has always been part of my DNA,
when I stumbled across a pizzeria, I knew what I needed. Needless to say, this was THE BEST slice of pizza I had ever tasted. When I returned to have my slice of heaven I was deeply heartbroken to find that magical pizza shop had all but vanished. From that moment own I knew it was my mission to replicate the amazingness I had once tasted. But I was determined to make things bigger and better, and to
share my love of pizza with the UK.
FORWARD TO TODAY
So here we are 7 years later, after numerous failings, blood, sweat and mostly tears I have been able to recreate the original NY slice, with my own spin on things. In my home kitchen was where Dough Daddy UK was created a husband-and-wife team.
Our mission at Dough Daddy’s is to bring delicious, tasty NY inspired supreme 24” pizzas, sourcing our ingredients locally including a range of sides ready to tantalise the taste buds.
